Watercolor... meet Abstract!

I've always found the creation of abstract work relaxing.  In the last year I've grown to love watercolor as a medium so it just made sense to finally put the two together!  This is the second in a series I'm working on.    The first is hanging in my office until it sells.

Not the greatest photo but hopefully you get the idea.

What a difference a mat makes!

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm back and I'm painting to jazz!

Whew!  It's been a while!  I've been a busy lady over the last couple of years.  I won't bore you with the details of my life.  Suffice to say, I have not had much opportunity to blog about anything.  I did, however, find time to paint!  From small pieces to HUGE pieces.  Let's start with those!  They are part of my Jazz series.  Why Jazz?  Well... I saw the movie La La Land and got the jazz bug so all of these were painted to jazz music.  You'll may even notice a rhythm in some of them.  The title of first in the series, "Venice al Jazz" means "Paint to Jazz."  And that I did!

I'll be moving into a new home next month and will have a huge studio area.  Expect more new art soon.  Until then, I'll try to catch up and share some of the work I've been doing since I was on here last!  I hope you enjoy it.  If so, please share it with friends and family!  I've opened an Etsy Shop and would love to have you visit!

Until next time!
